Rain and wind took their toll on electricity service here in Schuylkill County.
Currently, there are 1,174 PPL Electric customers without power (as of 9 a.m. Wednesday). At most, there were more than 1,500 customers without power on Tuesday night.
Most of the outages are currently in Hubley, Union, and Schuylkill townships.

First responders are very busy on Tuesday. Downed trees and utility poles are being reported across the area all day.
