Woman Causes Thousands in Damage at Mount Carbon Bar

Police are investigating an incident involving an unruly patron at a bar in Mount Carbon earlier this month.

According to information from State Police in Schuylkill Haven, troopers were called to Goodfella’s Cafe in the early morning hours of May 6.

When police arrived, they learned that a female customer at the bar “maliciously caused damages” to the business and then fled the scene. The woman has not been identified.

Police say they’re still investigating. They’ve itemized the damages at $2,200, including a hand railing, a window, and a neon sign.
