Schuylkill County Couple Cited Following Fight Over Popcorn

A Schuylkill County couple is facing harassment charges after getting into a fight over popcorn.

According to information from State Police in Schuylkill Haven, the incident happened back on March 26, before 9 a.m.

Police say the Pine Grove couple started arguing about the noise level caused by eating popcorn in the morning. The couple started pushing each other during this argument.

No injuries were reported on account of the scuffle and the boyfriend and girlfriend separated for the remainder of that day.

In the end, police charged Elizabeth Gibson, 35, and Kole Kreiser, 39, both of Pine Grove, with harassment.

    How much noise can popcorn make???? LOL

      Actually did a search to see if this was studied. Of course, it was. And popcorn being eaten is no louder than a loud movie in a movie theater.
