Pennsylvania State Police continue to look for a suspect in the alleged road rage shooting that took place last week on Route 61 near Orwigsburg.
On Tuesday, police ask that anyone who was traveling southbound on Route 61 between Mount Carbon Arch Road outside Pottsville and Brick Hill Road, near Orwigsburg, on Jan. 27 from 5:50 through 6:10 p.m. may have information related to this investigation.
Police say travelers during that time may have witnessed the alleged incident or the vehicle involved.
On Saturday evening, around 6 p.m., someone reported to State Police in Schuylkill Haven that someone shot several rounds from a gun at their vehicle while driving on Route 61. They say it happened near The Freeze restaurant and S. Greenview Rd. in North Manheim Twp.
The suspected shooter sped off from the scene, south on Route 61 before turning off at the jug handle at Brick Hill Rd.
No injuries have been reported from this incident.
That vehicle – a “light-colored sedan” – was last seen on Brick Hill Rd. in West Brunswick Twp.
