National Weather Service has issued a Snow Squall Warning for Schuylkill County until 1:30 p.m. The warning has been extended until 2:45 p.m.
Forecasters say several bands of “dangerous snow squalls” will move through the area until later this afternoon.

These squalls will likely affect travel conditions, especially on interstate highways in and near Schuylkill County. NWS says I-81 from Mile Markers 65-120 and I-78 from Mile Markers 0-8.
Also included in the Snow Squall Warning are:
- Dauphin County
- Northern Lancaster County

Weather was likely a factor in a major crash on I-81 in Schuylkill County earlier Monday.
