Missing Pottsville Woman Found Dead

The Pottsville woman local police reported as missing earlier this week has been found dead.

According to information posted by Pottsville PD, Tatyana Johnson, 47, was discovered deceased. The police updated the public on Thursday but do not say when or where, exactly, her body was found.

“We are sorry to advise that the search for Tatyana Johnson has ended with her being found deceased. While the investigation continues there is no evidence of criminal activity involved at this time,” Pottsville PD posted on its Facebook page.

On Tuesday, Johnson’s van was found at the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary property. Earlier this month, Johnson allegedly left her home in Pottsville and was never seen again.
