Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief earlier this month at the McDonald’s store near Schuylkill Haven.
Apparently, on the night of Feb. 2, an Hispanic male approached the drive-thru window of the restaurant on foot. He was wearing eyeglasses, a coat, and a blue hoodie.
State Police in Schuylkill Haven say the man wanted free food. The restaurant denied him his request.
So, in a retaliatory move, the man walked back to the digital drive-thru menu boards. He picked up a rock and whipped it at the menu boards.
The rock damaged one of the boards. Police estimate that damage at $30,000.
