National Weather Service has placed Schuylkill County under a Winter Weather Advisory.
The Advisory goes into effect at 7 p.m. Thursday and extends until 6 a.m. Friday.
NWS is forecasting 2-4 inches of snow to fall on the area during that time.
The Winter Weather Advisory also affects Montour, Northumberland, and Columbia counties.
Forecasters believe hazardous travel conditions will exist during the expected winter weather.
Based on this graphic from NWS, snow is expected to start in Schuylkill County some time around 9 p.m. Thursday.
