A Schuylkill County man recently reported that some random woman was on his lawn and she was wearing his shirt.
It happened back on Oct. 30, at about 6:30 a.m. along West Penn Pike in West Penn Township. According to information from State Police in Frackville, a 59-year-old man reported seeing a woman walking on his lawsuit and she was wearing on of his T-shirts.
Police say they determined the woman, identified as 45-year-old Heather Smith, of Tamaqua, broke into the man’s home wearing wet clothing. Her clothing was wet from her being outside earlier that morning, police say.
Once inside, the woman changed out of the wet clothes, putting on one of the man’s shirts.
A neighbor told police that Smith had been outside, yelling and causing a disturbance on the side of Route 309, in front of their house.
Smith was arraigned before District Judge David Plachko later that day on felony burglary and criminal trespass charges and sent to Schuylkill County Prison on $25,000 bail. She posted it the following day. She’ll be back in court for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday.
