Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf joined other nearby Democrat Governors on Tuesday calling on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign from office.
Today, Cuomo was hit with the results of an “independent” investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James into allegations that he sexually harassed 11 women during his time as Governor. That review said he did, indeed touch women inappropriately and say things of a sexual nature toward several women.
Cuomo issued a statement after the release of the report, saying he denies the allegations against him.
Earlier today, President Joe Biden called for Cuomo to resign.
And just this evening, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf said he should do the same. In a joint statement issued from Wolf, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont, and Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee.
“We are appalled at the findings of the independent investigation by the New York Attorney General. Governor Cuomo should resign from office,” the statement reads.
