A Pennsylvania Game Commission employee suffered a serious leg injury Monday morning when he was run over by a kid on an ATV near State Game Lands in Schuylkill County.
According to information from PGC, the incident happened at about 10:30 near the intersection of Malones and Beaver Dam roads, Butler Township. That’s where a game lands maintenance supervisor was run down by a kid on an ATV.
The Game Commission employee was helping perform road improvements on a gravel road that is used as access to State Game Lands 326. The ATV rider allegedly hit the Game Commission employee, standing next to his work vehicle at the time, at a high rate of speed. Authorities say the rider was riding out of the Game Lands property.
He had to be flown by medical helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville for treatment of his injuries.
Police in Gordon made an arrest Monday afternoon following an investigation. They’ve not identified the ATV driver, only saying it’s a juvenile, and also not releasing the name of the Game Commission employee.
