mcadoo breakins

Police in McAdoo have issued another alert to residents encouraging them to lock their doors and vehicles.

They say reports of attempted break-ins around the borough have persisted through the month of May. A similar warning was issued back on May 8.

Last week, police reported two attempted break-ins along S. Kennedy Ave. in McAdoo. They say damage was limited to the front doors of those residences.

McAdoo severely limited spending on its borough police force in 2020 and replies to the PD’s social media post indicate they’re not always available now.

If the borough police department isn’t available when a break-in is suspected, residents are told to call State Police.
