WNEP reported on the City of Scranton honoring a World War II veteran on Saturday. But the headline at the bottom of the screen could have used an edit.
If you just read the graphic on the screen, you’d be scratching your head thinking Scranton’s got a strange way of paying respect to its war heroes.
Some communities name a park or a building after them. But in Scranton, they give them a “street name”.
What sort of street name would a WWII vet have?
