Trump Says Make America Great Again Movement Only Just Beginning

President Donald Trump celebrated his second impeachment acquittal on Saturday by firing off a statement demeaning Democrats whom he accuses of violating the Constitution and the rule of law to score political victories.

In it, Trump also proclaimed that the Make America Great Again political movement he essentially started back in 2015, is only getting started.

Trump Issues Statement Following Impeachment Acquittal

The Senate voted 57-43 to convict Trump of inciting what they call an insurrection at the US Capitol on Jan. 6. That’s when protestors and some rallygoers stormed the Capitol building while the House and Senate were set to debate the certification of electors in the 2020 General Election for President.

Debate was just getting underway – being broadcast on national television – on whether the House and Senate should certify electors in Arizona. As the debate was unfolding, the protestors got inside the Capitol building, sending elected officials scattering for cover.

The House of Representatives quickly impeached Trump, accusing him of causing that panic through what they called inflammatory language. And while 57 Senators – including 7 Republican Senators, like Pennsylvania Sen. Pat Toomey – voted to convict, it was not enough to meet the two-thirds majority needed.

Buoyed by the acquittal – his second such from impeachment proceedings – former President Trump issued a statement, according to a report from The Epoch Times:

I want to first thank my team of dedicated lawyers and others for their tireless work upholding justice and defending truth.

My deepest thanks as well to all of the United States Senators and Members of Congress who stood proudly for the Constitution we all revere and for the sacred legal principles at the heart of our country.

Our cherished Constitutional Republic was founded on the impartial rule of law, the indispensable safeguard for our liberties, our rights and our freedoms.

It is a sad commentary on our times that one political party in America is given a free pass to denigrate the rule of law, defame law enforcement, cheer mobs, excuse rioters, and transform justice into a tool of political vengeance, and persecute, blacklist, cancel and suppress all people and viewpoints with whom or which they disagree. I always have, and always will, be a champion for the unwavering rule of law, the heroes of law enforcement, and the right of Americans to peacefully and honorably debate the issues of the day without malice and without hate.

This has been yet another phase of the greatest witch hunt in the history of our Country. No president has ever gone through anything like it, and it continues because our opponents cannot forget the almost 75 million people, the highest number ever for a sitting president, who voted for us just a few short months ago.

I also want to convey my gratitude to the millions of decent, hardworking, law-abiding, God-and-Country loving citizens who have bravely supported these important principles in these very difficult and challenging times.

Our historic, patriotic and beautiful movement to Make America Great Again has only just begun. In the months ahead I have much to share with you, and I look forward to continuing our incredible journey together to achieve American greatness for all of our people. There has never been anything like it!

We have so much work ahead of us, and soon we will emerge with a vision for a bright, radiant, and limitless American future.

Together there is nothing we cannot accomplish.

We remain one People, one family, and one glorious nation under God, and it’s our responsibility to preserve this magnificent inheritance for our children and for generations of Americans to come.

May God bless all of you, and may God forever bless the United States of America.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Officer Sicknick & peace for his family. May his murderers be brought to justice. On this I’m certain we can all agree.

It’s a tragedy that a man died so young. But was he really murdered? Even the NYT has retracted the lazy fire extinguisher story. Truth doesn’t matter to Democrats though. They disgustingly used the fake story about his death to their political advantage.

Law enforcement officials now tell CNN that there was no fire extinguisher blow, no bloody gash, and no blunt force trauma to Sicknick’s body when he died.

Not only that, but it is increasingly unclear when, where and if Sicknick was even rushed to the hospital.

As it turns out, multiple hours after the protest had already concluded, Sicknick texted his own brother Ken that very night he was basically fine, other than being “pepper sprayed twice,” confirming he was safe and “in good shape.”

Then, an odd thing happened. The next afternoon, the Sicknick family began getting phone calls that Officer Brian Sicknick had been declared dead. The phone calls didn’t come from the hospital. They didn’t come from the treating physicians. They didn’t come from the US Capitol Police, or the FBI, or the DOJ.

    They came from media reporters.

Certain privileged media personnel were evidently the first to receive sensitive information circulating among “law enforcement officials” that Brian Sicknick was dead.

    …now what…

Why no cries for censorship of Sen. Toomey from the Schuylkill County Republican Committee? In one of the largest Maga-headed county in the state, why hasn’t the local press, traditional & alternative, asked this question? The silence is deafening.

Schmendrick Toomey is a waste. Epitome of a RINO. Blowhard, windbag, take your money politician.

Looks like the County Repub Committee has voted to censure Toomey. Conspicuous by its absence is the voting results. Obviously the many Skook Conspiracy Theory Q-Anoners who attached their self-esteem to a glorified carny barker had their votes trump the Skook establishment Repubs who have worked so hard to stagnate our wages & allow courthouse malarkey to fester. Pick you poison.

Looks like correct on no fire extinguisher blow. FBI has the insurrectionist identified & mass intake of bear repellent appears to be cause of death. Officer Sicknick was able to return to his headquarters, but got exponentially impaired & passed at the hospital. This may get charges lowered from murder to physical assault, however, PB video shows assailant & cohorts discussing how to lethally utilize the spray. The good officer was a Afghan & Iraqi war vet. Deaths of 2 other officers were self-inflicted. Many more concussions & broken bones of officers occurred resulting in the largest assault on a U.S. police force since Sept 11, 2001.

I guess we’ll hear from the lunatic Q conspirators/lapdogs next. Enjoy CPAC.

99.9% of the reporting on what happened Jan. 6 is sloppy, at best. If people are alleged to have committed crimes, the media should be clearly stating that it’s ALLEGED and the person is not guilty until found so by a judge or jury. Seems much of that day the media and Democrats almost seemed prepared for. Pretty strange, that. From the smooth transition in the narratives on cable news to the sappy speeches later that night on the floor of Congress, it all seemed a little pre-determined. Never saw anyone pounce on a story that quickly. Granted, they’ve been seething to pin the worst on Trump for years to no avail and this may have been their one last shot.
