A deadly fire in Butler Township early Friday morning claimed the lives of a woman and her teen brother.
According to an update from The Shenandoah Sentinel, Alison Marie Houser, 29, and Andrew John Charriez, 13, died Friday when they were unable to escape their burning home along Brown Lane. Two others made it out of the burning home.
In a report from AP, the mother of the two who died and their grandfather were also in the home at the time. They got out. The mother, whose name has not been released, jumped from a porch roof to escape.
She was flown to Geisinger-Danville. The grandfather avoided serious injury, according to reports.
The fire started just after midnight Friday. A cause for the deadly fire has not been determined.
