State Police in Frackville say they’re seeking a felony arrest warrant for a may they believe robbed and struck his ex-girlfriend earlier this week in Girardville.
According to information from the Frackville barracks, they believe 31-year-old Michael Joyner forced his way into a house along W. Ogden St. in the borough on Sunday morning, just after 10.
That’s when and where police showed up after getting a call from Joyner’s ex-girlfriend. She told them Joyner got inside through the rear entrance of the house.
Once inside, Joyner grabbed a phone from his ex’s hands and punched her on the side of the face. After that, he fled the scene on foot before police could get there.
The ex who was injured in the fight refused medical treatment at the scene.
Police say Joyner has an active arrest warrant from the Pennsylvania State Board of Probation and Parole and will see a felony arrest warrant for his actions on Sunday in Girardville.
If anyone has information on Joyner’s location, they’re asked to call the Frackville State Police barracks at 570-874-5300.
They list Joyner as a black man, standing 6 feet-1 inch tall, weighing 165 pounds. He’s got brown hair and brown eyes.
