Here’s how police believe the robbery went down:
At around 5:10 a.m. that morning, two men forced their way into Cressona Mall via the rear entrance to Somewhere in Time Sports Collectibles. They arrived in an unknown make and model black sedan.
Once inside the store, they smashed a glass door to gain access to the mall. They made their way to the Verizon store and smashed a window there to get inside it.
Thieves made their way inside the Verizon store and lifted “numerous high-end” phones from it.
You can see the two stuffing the stolen merchandise into a bright pink duffel bag.
Police believe the phones are worth a total of $36,459.
At some point during the robbery, one of the thugs had a chance to mug for the camera.
Police believe a third person was driving the getaway car and aided in the robbery.
They’re asking for the public’s help in possibly identifying the people involved. If you know anything, you’re asked to call the Haven barracks at 570-754-4600.
