APRIL 14 UPDATE: 12 New Cases of Chinese Virus Over Last 2 Days in Schuylkill County

Health officials confirmed 12 new cases of Chinese virus in Schuylkill County over the last 2 days.

Four cases were identified on Monday and another 8 cases of Chinese virus on Tuesday.

The county total, to date, is 200. Two people in Schuylkill County have died while battling coronavirus infection.

Tuesday is the 24th consecutive day of positive Chinese virus cases locally. Here’s a day-by-day breakdown:

To date, there are 25,345 total positive cases of Chinese virus in Pennsylvania and another 108,286 negative Chinese virus cases as of noon on Tuesday, April 14. Pennsylvania’s death toll from coronavirus-related illness is now 584.

The first positive case in Pennsylvania was reported on March 6. The first case in Schuylkill County was reported on March 22.

      No, it’s pretty accurate. It’s not better. It’s the best. The virus came from China. It’s the Chinese virus. Grow up.
