Schuylkill County’s total of positive COVID-19 coronavirus is now at 13. That total is 4 higher than yesterday.
This is the sixth consecutive day of positive coronavirus cases locally. Here’s a day-by-day breakdown:

- March 26: 3
- March 27: 4
Statewide, there are 2,218 positive cases as of noon Friday, March 27. That’s 531 cases more than Wednesday. Six more coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Pennsylvania in the last 24 hours. That brings the state’s total to 22.
The first case in Pennsylvania was reported on March 6.
Schuylkill County at 13 Positive Coronavirus Cases
While the apparent “spike” in the number of positive cases may alarm some. It appears the state learned of many more test results, too
To date, there are 2,128 total positive cases in Pennsylvania and another 21,016 negatives. That means 9.5% of those receiving a coronavirus test are testing positive. That percentage remains consistent since the state started consistently reporting negative totals. A total of 23,234 tests have been conducted.

- Allegheny: 158
- Bucks: 124
