New information in from Pennsylvania health officials show Schuylkill County now at 3 positive coronavirus cases.
In the last 24 hours, 2 more cases have been confirmed. On Sunday, the first positive case of COVID-19 coronavirus was reported by Pennsylvania Health Sec. Rachel Levine.
Statewide, there are 644 positive cases as of noon Monday, March 23. That’s 165 cases more than Sunday.
Two coronavirus-related deaths have been reported since March 6, the day the first positive coronavirus case was confirmed in the Commonwealth. (UPDATE: State health officials updated this total later in the day to 6 coronavirus-related deaths.)
Schuylkill County at 3 Positive Coronavirus Cases
In addition to the 644 positive cases, there are an addition 6,595 negatives. That means 8.8% of those receiving a coronavirus test are testing positive.
Statewide, Montgomery County tests the most positive cases, now at 129. That’s one more than Philadelphia County’s 128. Delaware County has the third most, 54.
