This Spring will keep you on your toes.
This week so far, it’s been rather warm and muggy. Some would call it downright hot but it really wasn’t the heat as it was the humidity.
But that’s in the past and for the next few days, we’re looking at some much cooler temps in the coal region. In fact, the high temps on Friday are only expected to be in the mid-50s!
Here’s the latest 7-day forecast for Pottsville from National Weather Service …
Thursday: 🌧️ Showers likely, mainly after 2pm. Cloudy with a high near 62°. Calm wind turning east around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Thursday Night: 🌧️ Continued showers with a low around 48°. East wind at 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%, with new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch possible.
Friday: 🌧️ Showers persisting. High near 54° with an east wind of 10 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%, with similar rainfall amounts as Thursday night.
Friday Night: 🌧️ A chance of showers, mainly before 2am. Mostly cloudy with a low around 45°. Northeast wind at 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Saturday: 🌦️ A slight chance of showers before 8am, then again after 2pm. Mostly cloudy with a high near 60°. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Saturday Night: 🌧️ A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a low around 46°. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Sunday: 🌦️ A chance of showers. Partly sunny with a high near 59°. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
