With grocery store prices so high, will people still make a run on stores the day before a potentially big snowstorm?
Of course they will.
Will The Canary? Why not? It’s a spectacle and The Canary loves a spectacle.
Why do we do it? Who knows? Call it a tradition.
Regardless of why we do it, it looks like it’ll be a perfect day for cramming into grocery store parking lots and going to the store to buy everything but milk and bread – wait, we actually need bread.
After we get through Saturday, our eyes will focus on the next big event, which currently looks like a big rain forecast for Tuesday. We’ll get into that after we’re done shoveling whatever happens this weekend.
