As we’re putting together this post, it’s really coming down out there. And it figures to keep raining pretty hard through Monday morning. Schuylkill County remains under a Flood Watch through this afternoon.
It’ll eventually settle down but it’s going to get cold tonight. In fact, it’ll be cold enough to snow and it probably will later Monday night headed into Tuesday. There’s a chance of snow on Tuesday during the afternoon as well.
But that’s it for the precip for the rest of the week, at least according to the forecast right now.

Monday 🌧️: Rain aplenty, especially before 1pm, possibly heavy. Temperatures take a dip to about 45° by 5pm. Hold onto your hats, as it’s breezy! Northeast winds of 14-22 mph will swing westward in the afternoon, with gusts reaching up to 39 mph. Rain’s a sure bet (100% chance), with rainfall between three quarters and one inch expected.
Monday Night 🌧️🌨️: A teasing chance of rain before 11pm, then rain and snow flirt briefly between 11pm and 2am, with snow likely thereafter. Mostly cloudy, cooling to 31°. Winds from the west at 11-16 mph, gusting up to 29 mph. Snowfall might just dust the ground (less than a half inch).
Tuesday 🌨️: Snow likely early on (before 8am), then just a hint of snow showers post-2pm. Partly sunny with a high near 36°. Northwest winds at 13-18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Expect a light snow sprinkling (less than a half inch).
Tuesday Night 🌌: A starry, mostly clear night awaits, with temperatures dropping to around 24°. Northwest winds continue at 14-16 mph, gusting to 24 mph.
