Big Rain Today, A Little Bit of Snow at Night

Flood Watch goes into effect this afternoon.

The day of the big rainstorm is upon us here in Schuylkill County.

In the last few days, the forecasted amount of rain really hasn’t changed. However, it doesn’t appear that it’ll rain nearly as much as originally forecast but it’ll be rather rainy and definitely windy.

Overall, we’re looking at getting 2 or more inches of rain through the day on Sunday with wind gusts as high as 24 mph.

The rain is expected to end as a little bit of snow, too, but no real accumulation is expected.

In short, it’s looking like a good day to sit around and watch a lot of football before tonight’s big game against Dallas.
