Schuylkill County remains under a Flood Watch until 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 9.
This alert includes a number of other regions across central Pennsylvania.
The watch cautions for the potential of flash flooding caused by continuous heavy rainfall. Local creeks and streams may overflow their banks, resulting in possible flooding in poorly drained and urban areas.
Especially vulnerable are the regions south of Williamsport and north of Harrisburg, where rainfall amounts of 2-3 inches have already started to cause localized flooding issues.
