DEVELOPING: Severe Storms Affecting Schuylkill County

Update this post for new information.

Heavy rain, wind and thunderstorms are affecting portions of Schuylkill County on Sunday afternoon and evening.

Schuylkill County remains under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 11 p.m. Sunday as heavy rain and storms roll through the coal region.

Earlier Sunday, a portion of southwestern Schuylkill County was placed under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.

Storms moving through the area could feature heavy rain downpours, strong winds, thunder, and lightning.
