Overnight Frost Advisory Issued for Schuylkill County

Cover those plants!

National Weather Service in State College has issued a Frost Advisory for Schuylkill County.

The advisory will be in effect from midnight tonight through 8 a.m. Thursday, May 18.

The sudden drop in temperatures, expected to reach as low as 34 degrees, is predicted to result in frost formation.

This poses a significant threat to sensitive outdoor vegetation, which could be killed by near-ground freezing temperatures.
