NWS: 2-4 Inches of Snow on Monday in Schuylkill County
We were lucky to escape the snow showers on Saturday and with a sunny day on tap for Sunday, this will be 2 snow-free days for us here in Schuylkill County.
But on Monday, it’s definitely looking like a fast-moving clipper system will streak across Pennsylvania during the day.
Check out the weather model runs for the next 3 days and you’ll see that the GFS, Euro, and NAM models seem to be in agreement on the timing, just slightly varying on the amount of snow.
As of Sunday morning, National Weather Service predicts between 2-4 inches of snow on Monday here in Pottsville with varying amounts around the county.
The good news here is that it looks like the wintry weather shuts off after this Monday storm. By mid-week, we’ll be looking at temperatures nearing 50 on Wednesday and in the 40s on Thursday.
And there’s not a flake in sight (at least in the near future).
You can almost smell spring.
