Winter Storm Week, Part 1

We’re getting an early dose of winter in Schuylkill County this year. While the snow that falls on the coal region may pale in comparison to the storm we’re expecting later this week, it’s still snow.

That said, look for about an inch of snow across the area today. Some higher elevations may see little more. But whatever falls likely won’t stick around long. Snow will mix with some rain later in the day Monday before the sky clears at night.

Watch out for some gusty wind on Monday, too. Winds will pick up throughout the day. Some gusts could reach 20 mph.
