Today’s Weather in a GIF
Schuylkill County Weather Report for August 2
The rain we’re expecting on Sunday is the kind of rain we need here in Schuylkill County. Perhaps up to a half-inch of rain is expected, along with some strong to severe thunderstorms in some areas.
This will be nothing compared to what’s expected in the area starting Monday night into Tuesday from Tropical Storm Isaias.
Expect the rain in the early part of the day before clouds break and reveal a mostly sunny sky. A chance of storms increases in the evening.
The one unwelcome part of the day Sunday will be the heat and humidity. It’ll get close to 90 but it’ll feel like it’s close to 100.
