Happy Sunday Canary Crew!  It’s week 5 and we’ve got a great slate of games.  I worked hard this week to come up with the best FREE NFL Week 5 lineups for both FanDuel and DraftKings.  These lineups were made by players I recommend in my weekly breakdown of the main slate Week 5 NFL DFS Breakdown for FanDuel and DraftKings. Be sure to check it out before you build or adjust your lineups.

Here’s a shameless plug for my Twitter @FlashlightDFS. Give me a follow and reach out to me for free DFS and seasonal fantasy football advice.

This week we’re all in on three guys: Zeke Elliot, Chris Godwin, and Golden Tate. As you’ll see in my lineups below, it’s those three guys along with the Steelers Defense on both FD and DK.

No surprise inactives announced Friday/Saturday but as always keep an eye on things when they’re announced around noon today.  The good news is that nobody on my write up is in too much risk so we should be good.  Below I have a couple of additions to our player pool, both at the WR position and an update for my take on Teddy Bridgewater.

Golden Tate (4500 FD/4600 DK) – FanDuel is asleep at the wheel here as Tate way too low, that’s why he made my lineups.  Reports out of NY indicate that Tate will take over the slot role and Sterling Shepard will move outside.  Xavier Rhodes works the outside for Minnesota so the looks will go Tate’s way.  His price is low and the Giants will likely be playing catch up all which make Golden Tate a nice option this week.

Julio Jones (8200 FD/7700 DK) – What a revelation…Julio Jones.  I’m writing him up here because he’s got a great opportunity against a mediocre Texans secondary.  Even though he had a down week he’s without a question THE guy for Atlanta and this game has the highest total on the main slate. If the game shoots out, Julio should be a big part of it.

Teddy Bridgewater (7200 FD/5200 DK) – I don’t think Teddy is playable on FD…too much risk for a guy who hasn’t thrown for 200 yards yet this season.  I like him on DK as a GPP ONLY option when paired up with Michael Thomas and/or Alvin Kamara, who you don’t need my permission to play.

Ok, that’s it for this week Canary Crew, hope you have a great week and enjoy the games.
