The first day of school in one NEPA school district is being delayed.

According to WNEP.com, Crestwood Area School District officials say they need more time to work out schedules with the new bus company it contracted in July.

Parents in the school district got a letter on Sunday telling them about the schedule change. School was supposed to start on Monday.

Wilkes-Barre Death Ruled a Homicide

A Wilkes-Barre family seeks justice today following a recent Luzerne County Coroner ruling.

According to PAhomepage.com, family of Jeremy Soto say they want the person who killed him in a fight in June. The coroner ruled Soto’s death a homicide but Wilkes-Barre police haven’t filed charges in the death investigation.

Man Wanted for Firing Gun in Scranton

Scranton police are looking for a man they say fired a weapon in the city Saturday night.

WNEP.com reports Miles Singleton is wanted in connection with the “shots fired” incident.

300,000 Attend Little League World Series

On Sunday, the 2019 Little League World Series finished with a team from Louisiana shutting out a team from Curacao to win the championship.

According to WNEP.com, officials say attendance for the two-week event topped 300,000. Players, families, and fans from around the world converged on South Williamsport for the event, giving the local economy an annual spike.

Next year, the event expands with 4 more teams added to the field.
