polar vortex 2019 schuylkill county

Polar Vortex 2019 is due for Schuylkill County Wednesday.

The evil arctic blast is expected to punish the county until the end of the work week. Temperatures at night will drop below zero and high temps during the days will struggle to top 10 degrees.

No matter how you tell it, it’s going to be awful.

If banks still showed time and temperature on their signs outside, we’d take a picture of it.

CHECK OUT THE DAILY WEATHER FORECAST from our chief weatherman Jim Storm for day-to-day details of the cold.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Schuylkill County from Wednesday into Thursday. On Wednesday morning, the county was in a Snow Squall Warning as a fast-moving band of precip moved in ahead of the extremely cold air and fierce wind.
